What is included in a roof cleaning, and what is not?
A cleaning visit covers four things: an inspection of the roof surface, the flashings and everything that penetrates the roof; removal of loose moss with hand tools and blown air; a liquid moss treatment over the whole surface; and the gutters cleaned out.
Repairs are not included. We do seal around flashings and exposed fasteners as part of the service where it is needed, and if the inspection turns up anything that needs real repair work we tell you what it is after we have looked, before anything else happens.
Debris goes in your compost if you have one, and otherwise we haul it away.

Pacific Pride Roofing will not force or scrape moss from the roof surface. Aggressive removal can strip protective granules and damage the shingles. Some roofs need more than one treatment; any further treatment is a separate visit, priced at a lower rate because it is a lighter visit, and we agree the price with you before we do it. After treatment, remaining moss typically loosens and weathers off naturally with wind and rain.
